Hello!

So it has been a billion years since I last posted anything, and yes, I did forget just for a little while that I had ever even created a blog. In the last 3 months of my absence I have worked like a nut (with my job at Baskins that is) and I was looking at my pay slip the other day to find out I have been doing 61.5 hours a fortnight! what sort of full time uni student does that! anyway, the hours has paid off, literally. The coinage is greaaaaaaattttt (sorry really feeling the need to brag about it) which means I have been able to purchase most things I want on the spot, rather than having to save and pace my expenses! ahhh ahh la vie est une grande!

Sooooo in this entry I'm just going to post some of the recent purchases I have made which I am thinking of strutting this Spring. (Oh how I love you Spring) First item-

These shoes were an excellent purchase from Rubi shoes. I have been looking for a cheap pair everywhere and couldn't find any cheaper than $200 and it was killlliiinnnggg me! and then someone told me to check out the pair they have at Rubi, which I did. I have worn them pretty much every weekend since I purchased them and they were a loving $49.95 :)

Second item is this cute as t shirt I purchased from T-Bar at Spencer street DFO. I am definitely not a t-shirt person but this one is awesome and I have teamed it many times with skirts, shorts and trackies. But most importantly, it is everyones favorite- MJ! (and his monkey, Bubbles) super cute super quirky :)

Third item is this oversized shirt I bought from an op shop. I think on the tag it says its a size 26 or something. The bigger the better! It is a massive win for my Spring wardrobe as its easily teamable with shorts skirts and pants. Plusssss it's black, so goes with anything! I'm pretty sure I didn't pay more then 6 dollars for it :)

Fourth item is another purchase from the op shop. Yes, I think I may have a fetish for oversized tops. Thin cotton material makes it the most comfortable wear, and the size of it is so convenient- can be worn as a dress or teamed with bottoms. It's really slouchy which is definitely my kind of thing plus I need something airy that doesn't highlight my winter fat (which I am desperately working on right now!!!)

Ok so the fifth item is definitely my fav! again, it's one of those things I had been looking for monnntthhhsss but couldn't find a pair unless I was willing to pay $600 but then! thennnn I found a pair at Glassons for $40 and I am pretty sure I cried when I cam across them in happiness. I've worn them to uni a couple of times and theyre so airryyyy and comfy to wear, mind you the weird stares I received were a little annoying. I like to take them a step further and team them with some heels and wear them out at night, rather than just using them during the day with flats!

soooooo I'm going to go to bed for now but I REALLY hope I have enough motivation tomorrow night to continue with my 3 month catch up blog!

Ok, so every week to calm myself from exam study anxiety, I go and watch a movie. This weeks movie was 'Get Him To The Greek'. It was seriously, probably the funniest movie I've watched since last years hit 'The Hangover'. Jonah Hill (who is now ridiculously fat and piggy) and Russell Brand (who is disturbingly sexy with his stuble, greasy hair and rock star persona) out together such a good movie. Jonah Hill was adorable (which was a massive change to his character in Superbad) and he's all about being a good boyfriend and avoiding drama etc. Anyway, seriously go watch it.. it was the best $15.00 I've ever spent. (actually not really, preety sure I've spent $15 on an amazing pair of harem pants which completes my life haha)

Ok, so I haven't posted a blog in like 2 weeks! and it's all because of the Devil.. also known as exams. And you study for exams cause you want to do well (or in my case, avoid that massive lecture from your crazy indian parents), but not only are exams just a waste of your fucking time, but a massive fat feeder. I HAVE PUT ON 3 KILOS IN THE PAST 4 WEEKS. 3 KILOS. not sure if it's noticable though. but still, right!!? RIGHTT!? All I do is eat. I have curry about twice a day, always have a massive meal at about 11.30 pm (i.e. some fish and chips or two sandwiches with a salad). I go through about 5 cans of coke a day, and I eat about a kilo's worth of chocolate. The picture on the left lasted me about 2 hours. It cost me $10. This is not good.. not good at all..

OK so moving on here are some of my recent discoveries. I haven't been able to make many in the past couple of weeks (refer to above paragraph) so please don't hate on my poor form :(

These are a pair of authentic pakistani 'chapals'. I had a relative send them to me from Bangladesh as my old pair have deteriorated and these things are the comfiest things you can ever put your feet in. They're absoulute leather so they mould to your feet shape, and they are mega quirky cute. My last ones were abit bland and subtle in colour, but I enjoy vibrant feel of these ones. yay!

This is the second fur vest I have ever invested in. It was $10, so I really felt the need to purchase this bad boy. Its a little big, but I think I like it that way? I'm not to sure. BUT! it is super soft and sometimes, I hold onto it in bed and rub the fur while I fall asleep... ok maybe you didn't need to know that..

Ok I'm going to go watch Scrubs now.

Procrastination!

Absolutely cannot bring myself to look at another book, read another line, or write another word! I hate you exams and I hope you die a very painful death.. very.. very painful death.. grr.
So if I know I'm not going to be able to bring myself to anymore studying, I might as well be productive in another way, right? right! I'm a massive amateur so don't laugh...



Sooo, my cousin is being stalked by some freak. And the thing is, the freak is a family friend. She's let this freak know that she is not interested, he's also about 20 years older than her, and his probably been at this little chase game for about a year now.. Last night, he sends her a message saying that he can't live with out her and he dreams of 'holding you tight in my arms' (massive spew right there). So after I finish writing this blog, I'm going to call this freak up, and put him in his place. And I'm a bit nervous, because he's like 40 years old something, but he's a freak, so I can get away with being a bitch right? right!

Prince of Persia

This week I watched the Prince of Persia. It was mediocre. I can't find any other word to describe it? I was definitely expecting more than what was given, although Jake Gyllenhaal looked amazing. He has this killer smile and it gets me everytimeeeee! Gemma Arterton looked beautiful in little arabian outfits strutting those hips of hers.
The effects were super shit and a lot of it was obvious animation. And the one thing that annoyed me (which normal people wouldn't have picked up on/ cared about really) is that they should have all been speaking arabic!! not english! and that too a very strong British accent! Ok, i don't want to talk about this movie anymore it's making me angry.

So this week I had a friend telling me about how both her parents are having affairs we different people! Both parents aren't so subtle about it, one of them even comes home with hickey's on their neck! But everything at home is still fine. They all sit down at dinner like a happy family and talk about everything and hold hands to say grace! How weird is that right!? I wonder what I would do if both my parents were having affairs? I wonder what you would do?! Do you rat them both in? Do you encourage them to get a divorce? But this friend of mine is a massive sneak, and totally invaded the privacy of both her parents. Went through call logs, checked phone bills, hacked into their emails and chat accounts etc. hahahaha!
Also, SEX AND THE CITY IS OUT! GET ON ITTTTTT!!

This weeks findings

so this photo was from last friday night (HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY JUELZ BABY!). We had drinks at the Carlton Club and oh my effing god there was a giraffe sticking its neck/head through the freaking wall. This is the only picture i have of it (birthday girl in red) and it was realllyyyy wierd. and someone was saying that it was a real giraffe stuffed with some sort of hard filling (there's an actual name for that process but i forget what it is). anyway, check the pretty wall paper though!

But no seriously, men look SO much better with a beard/a good amount of stubble. furthermore, people this week have been extra annoying, maybe its coz everyday of this week its been 17 degrees and shitty weather means shitty people?

Red Lippy and Gold Jewels

I know, I am major behind on this trend. But the thing is I'd never found the perfect color for my brown (latte?) complexion. And the other day, I found the perfect red! and I know... you must be like 'red IS one color?' but behold the many colorsssssss !
I don't know the technical names for all these colors but i'm just trying to make a point that they're all red and they're all different shades obviously.

So my other phase at the moment; heaps and heaps of gold! chunky, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings.. the lot really :) It's currently EOFYs (end of financial year sales) and a store which may tickle you pickle at the moment is Diva. I know... good old Diva. I don't understand why so many people dislike the store? is it because they cater for 5 year old girls as well? SO WHAT! anyway, literally, half the stock in all Diva stores are $7 and under. Last Friday I went shopping (by myself.. it's fun to go by yourself.. right?) and found myself walking out of Diva $40 poorer/ about a kilo's worth of jewelery heavier ! here's some of the stuff I bought...

It's Sunday morning but rain isn't actually falling (thank god) but it is freaking freezing and I'm having a real hate affair with the weather. Waking up in the morning and trying to pull the doona off is probably the biggest struggle I've ever had to face!
OK WORK JUST CALLED ME I'M LATE! I'll resume writing this in about 8 hours!

(about 10 hours later...) Ha i hate work! But to comfort my post-work grumpiness I went and watched The Back Up Plan and it was surprisingly good! Not so much a fan of Alex O'Loughlin though.. he comes across as abit of a... girl? I don't know.. he just seems really small and petite.. But the movie all up was preety good.. some good laughs!

OK sooo something else I wanted to share with you is my absolute love for Daim Chocolate!!! The crave began again yesterday after a friend of mine told me he was at Ikea doing some furniture shopping- which also happens to be like the only place they stock Daim chocolate! If you haven't ever had any you are truly missing out on the real luxuries life has to give!

So I work at the movies right. And I've been working there for about 2 years or something? Something like that.. anyway! so today, for the first time in my 2 years of being there, i found a condom on the floor whilst cleaning a cinema! haha! it was exciting but then not as exciting as the time I actually walked in on people going at in some santa clause/christmas movie (you know how every year during christmas there's like 2/3 santa clause movies? it was one of those. not to mention I absolutely LOVE those movies) and it was seriously the funniest thing I'd seen in my lifeeee! I didn't know how to interrupt and tell them to stop, 'cause I mean... how am I supposed to tap someone on the shoulder whose in the middle of a bone and say 'excuse me can you please stop having sex?'. Anyway, so I eventually flashed the light on his ass (yes, he was on top) until he realized, and then asked them to leave to the premises (I know.. so tight! but it had to be done!)
