Red Lippy and Gold Jewels

I know, I am major behind on this trend. But the thing is I'd never found the perfect color for my brown (latte?) complexion. And the other day, I found the perfect red! and I know... you must be like 'red IS one color?' but behold the many colorsssssss !
I don't know the technical names for all these colors but i'm just trying to make a point that they're all red and they're all different shades obviously.
Some really good quality red lipsticks are sold by the following brands:

Nars Lipstick in Jungle Red
Chanel Rouge Hydrabase Creme in Fire
Estee Lauder Hydra Lustre Lipstick in Rich Red
MAC Lipstick in Russian Red

Here are some sexy ladies who pull off a nice red lippy...

Dita Von Teese

Katherine Heigl

So my other phase at the moment; heaps and heaps of gold! chunky, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings.. the lot really :) It's currently EOFYs (end of financial year sales) and a store which may tickle you pickle at the moment is Diva. I know... good old Diva. I don't understand why so many people dislike the store? is it because they cater for 5 year old girls as well? SO WHAT! anyway, literally, half the stock in all Diva stores are $7 and under. Last Friday I went shopping (by myself.. it's fun to go by yourself.. right?) and found myself walking out of Diva $40 poorer/ about a kilo's worth of jewelery heavier ! here's some of the stuff I bought...

Struggling

.. to finish uni assignments! In the hope that some blogging might inspire an introduction to my politics essay, I've started on my fourth blog! (yes, I do feel the dire need to announce what number blog I'm upto)So if you're a melbournian, you'd be familiar with the free newspapers provided on train services- The MX. And so today, there was something in the MX which was really interesting:"Forced stop at red light; The days of running red lights may be numbered. IBM has applied for a patent that covers "a method for managing engines in response to a traffic signal".
If you're crawling through traffic in 2025 and approach a traffic light, IBM hopes it will be able to take control of your car..... "
DUDE like what the hellllll! I don't want some computer controlling my car! What if I had a lady in my car who was about to give birth whom I needed to get to the hospital asap. What if I'm being chased by Italian mafia people. What happens when Fast and Furious tries to make a 4th movie!? WHAT IF!

Also, I'm not sure if you noticed, but there's this typo in my last blog title. haha! I have this stubby little fingers which are prone to typo's haha.
anyway here's some stuff for you freaks to look at:

Pixie Market- Knit and Thread Necklace $173

Pixie Market-White bowtie leather bib $103

This was a top I made from this old dress I had. Looking forward to the many wear's I'll be getting out of this one!

Sunday mornin' fain is falinnn'

Sunday mornin' rain is falin' du du dup du du dup du du du du duuuuu
It's Sunday morning but rain isn't actually falling (thank god) but it is freaking freezing and I'm having a real hate affair with the weather. Waking up in the morning and trying to pull the doona off is probably the biggest struggle I've ever had to face!
OK WORK JUST CALLED ME I'M LATE! I'll resume writing this in about 8 hours!

(about 10 hours later...) Ha i hate work! But to comfort my post-work grumpiness I went and watched The Back Up Plan and it was surprisingly good! Not so much a fan of Alex O'Loughlin though.. he comes across as abit of a... girl? I don't know.. he just seems really small and petite.. But the movie all up was preety good.. some good laughs!

OK sooo something else I wanted to share with you is my absolute love for Daim Chocolate!!! The crave began again yesterday after a friend of mine told me he was at Ikea doing some furniture shopping- which also happens to be like the only place they stock Daim chocolate! If you haven't ever had any you are truly missing out on the real luxuries life has to give!

So I work at the movies right. And I've been working there for about 2 years or something? Something like that.. anyway! so today, for the first time in my 2 years of being there, i found a condom on the floor whilst cleaning a cinema! haha! it was exciting but then not as exciting as the time I actually walked in on people going at in some santa clause/christmas movie (you know how every year during christmas there's like 2/3 santa clause movies? it was one of those. not to mention I absolutely LOVE those movies) and it was seriously the funniest thing I'd seen in my lifeeee! I didn't know how to interrupt and tell them to stop, 'cause I mean... how am I supposed to tap someone on the shoulder whose in the middle of a bone and say 'excuse me can you please stop having sex?'. Anyway, so I eventually flashed the light on his ass (yes, he was on top) until he realized, and then asked them to leave to the premises (I know.. so tight! but it had to be done!)
Also during my gazzilion hour shift today, all I could think about was this dress I found on the net this morning. Behold.... Mod Cloth - Selective Potential Dress $54.99

I KNOW RIGHT.. LOOK AT THE PRICE! It's mainly the price which has got me whipped. But if that didn't get you as excited as it did me, maybe this will?

American Apparel Lace (and yeah those are American Apparel Employees.. only the sexiest people alive?)

OK I have to go to bed now 'cause I have this strict bedtime (trying to wake up in time for uni and not being such a drop kick) Life is preety good right now. Tonight, something happened to me which felt like a tonne of bricks were lifted off my chest. I hope if you're feeling shitty, or something heavy (i.e. bricks/elephants/lamps) is resting on your chest, goes away.. really soon. Be happy, don't worry.

Things I dream of

It's autumn right now, but it may as well be winter. We've been averaging on about 17 degrees the past week, but usually there's been a nice sunny warmth pushing through around mid day.
Winter also calls for a new wardrobeeeeee! (not really, if you're like me everyday calls for a new wardrobe)I've had my eyes on a few things, but me being the common poor uni student, do not have enough funds to purchase the following items :(

Tony Bianco - Nemesis - $190

Rafia Ribbon polka dot Ribbon hat - $29.95 (for that sunny part of the day I'm talking about)
Ladakh - Apprentice Bow Skirt - $89.95

KFHDL DJH DLKJFH DSJH AKJHL FDKJH!!!
anyhoooowwww... It's almost 12pm and I haven't left my room yet 'cause I don't want my mum to realize I'm awake (once she does, she'll hand me cleaning gloves and a mop or something). So I think I might just hang around in my room and start on my politics assignment due in 2 days (oh shit I just realized how close two days away is).

oh p.s I found this on the net last night. Its so cute/funny!

virgin coming through !

I just spent about 90 minutes writing up my first blog and uploaded a gazillion photos.. then just as I submit it, this stupid screen comes up telling me I'm not registered. This evokes a great sense of frustration! I debated over scrapping the whole blog thing for about 20 minutes and then jumped back online 'cause I do this thing, where when I fail at something the first time, I don't think to try again. I know, it's really pathetic of me, but look now!.. I'm giving this blog a second chance!

I'm 18 (I look like I'm 15 though)
I 'm a lazy arts student
I like blackjack and pizza shapes and the soda-coke they sell at McDonalds
I'm extremely stingy and am always searching for bargains (only as of recently- poor uni student)
My bedroom in a junkyard
I'm running out of perfume
I HATE Melbourne weather

I'm not sure what my blog is exactly going to be about.. so please bare with me here. I DO want to however share with you all- new fashion/styles.. things I enjoy/dislike.. things I find weird/cool and maybe share a few secrets :)

So in the photo of me above, I'm in a sneaky little alleyway/sidestreet just off Flinders. I like sneaky things. I like sneaky places and sneaky people.
I'm wearing my FAVOURITEST jumper everrrr. I purchased it from a Savers mega store in Brunswick. It cost me $6. I like cheap things and am always hunting for bargains.

Hopefully, if I dont spend all of tomorow being a slave for my mum and cleaning the house for her stupid curry party, I'll commence with my second blog ever!!
